“I‌ ‌have‌ ‌had‌ ‌a‌ ‌long‌ ‌and‌ ‌busy‌ ‌career‌ ‌running‌ ‌and‌ ‌reporting‌ ‌on‌ ‌my‌ ‌own‌ ‌businesses‌ ‌for‌ ‌20‌ ‌years‌, ‌as‌ ‌a‌ ‌management‌ ‌consultant‌ ‌and‌ ‌adviser‌ ‌in‌ ‌procurement‌ ‌and‌ ‌commercial,‌ ‌along‌ ‌with‌ ‌running‌ ‌two‌ ‌property‌ ‌letting‌ ‌businesses‌ ‌abroad.‌ ‌ With‌ ‌respect‌ ‌to‌ ‌the‌ ‌former‌ ‌I‌ ‌have‌ ‌helped‌ ‌organisations‌ ‌improve‌ ‌their‌ ‌business‌ ‌performance‌ ‌and‌ ‌achieve‌ ‌their‌ ‌goals,‌ ‌with‌ ‌particular‌ ‌emphasis‌ ‌on‌ ‌getting‌ ‌better‌ ‌value‌ ‌from‌ ‌the‌ ‌money‌ ‌they‌ ‌spend,‌ ‌governance‌ ‌and‌ ‌risk‌ ‌management.‌  ‌I‌ ‌now want‌ ‌to‌ ‌take‌ ‌the‌ ‌skills‌ ‌and‌ ‌experience‌ ‌‌I‌ ‌have‌ ‌built‌ ‌up‌ ‌and‌ ‌use‌ ‌to‌ ‌good‌ ‌effect‌ ‌for‌ ‌a‌ ‌good‌ ‌cause‌ ‌in‌‌the‌ ‌community‌.‌  ‌I‌ ‌want‌ ‌to‌ ‌do‌ ‌something‌ ‌different‌ ‌with‌ ‌my‌ ‌skills,‌ ‌‌gain‌ ‌new‌ ‌learnings‌ ‌and‌‌ experiences, build‌ ‌new‌ ‌relationships‌ ‌and‌ ‌take‌ ‌on‌ ‌new‌ ‌challenges‌ ‌that‌ ‌help‌ ‌make‌ ‌a‌ ‌difference‌ ‌for‌ CARBS charitable cause.”
